This guide covers essential tips on daily activities, gear progression, morphs, guild benefits, and more, so you can start strong.
1. Daily Content – Flexible, Not Mandatory
In many MMOs, daily activities expire if you skip them, creating “use it or lose it” pressure. Throne and Liberty works differently.
- Daily activities such as Party Dungeons, Open World Dungeons, and Daily Quests use currencies that carry over if unused.
- This means you can save them for another day if you’re busy, without losing progress.
- However, don’t let currencies hit their cap — spend some regularly to avoid waste.
2. Party (Co-Op) Dungeons
Co-Op Dungeons come in three tiers: 1-Star, 2-Star, and 3-Star.
- Entry is free, but opening the final chest costs Dimensional Contract Tokens:
- Each day at reset, you receive 900 Token I and 2× 900 Token II.
- Use the Party Board or Matchmaking to find groups.
- These dungeons are a great source of ores for crafting gear upgrades.
3. Open World Dungeons
These are public zones where parties can fight tougher enemies for better loot.
- Kills here consume Abyssal Contract Tokens.
- Once you run out, mobs won’t drop loot or give EXP/Sollant.
- Tokens replenish daily, and you can earn more from other activities.
- Cap: 40,000 tokens — avoid maxing out by spending regularly.
4. Daily Quests – Resistance Contracts
- You start each day with 10 Contract Rights and can store up to 69.
- Each daily quest (“Resistance Contract”) costs 1 Contract Right.
- While leveling, you’ll earn extra Rights — make sure to complete at least 10 before the first reset.
- Rewards include Rare Polished Crystals and Rare Parchments, which are essential for progression.
- Maximum rewards are at Level 50–55 contracts.
5. Gear Progression
Early gear upgrading is straightforward but requires planning:
- Focus on two weapons first, and work toward a third only once you have solid gear and a good build.
- Upgrade all armor evenly at the start to get the most out of Growthstones.
- Precious Growthstones (Weapon, Armor, Accessory) are the main upgrade items.
🔸 Early Growthstone Farming Tips
- Taedel’s Tower – Complete all floors after reaching Level 50. Use weekly Allied Resistance Forces Contract Scrolls for bonus rewards.
- Dungeons – Both Co-Op and Open World versions drop ores for crafting Growthstones.
- Exploration Codex – Grants Special Resistance Medals for purchasing progression materials.
- Resistance Contracts – Reward ores and Contract Coins for even more upgrade items.
- Collection Codex Pages – Collecting pages gives Ornate Coins for the Ornate Shop, where Growthstones are sold.
6. Morphs and Guardians
- Morphs: Special transformations with a collection system that boosts stats.
- Guardians: Combat-focused transformations with offensive or defensive effects.
7. Join a Guild Early
Even if you prefer solo play, guild membership has big benefits:
- Guild Shop – Purchase exclusive progression and sustain items.
- Private Field Boss Raids – Extra loot opportunities.
- Easier access to parties for dungeons and events.
- Guilds also participate in large-scale PvP wars and raids.
8. PvP – Optional but Rewarding
PvP in Throne and Liberty is never forced — all major events have Peaceful and PvP versions.
- Daily PvP: Dynamic Events, Dominion Battles, Guild vs. Guild events, Field Boss PvP instances.
- Night PvP: All Open World Dungeons become PvP zones during nighttime (2.5-hour cycles).
- Bi-Weekly/Bi-Monthly PvP: Riftstone War, Boonstone War, Castle Siege, Archboss PvP, Inter-Server Wars.
- If you prefer PvE, simply join the peaceful version of events.
